The project included the design, manufacture, transport, set and install of a 6,776 sq ft staff accommodations building. The structure consists of six 2-bedroom units, set on an ICF foundation with a concrete floor inside the crawl space. Foundation work began in late October 2016 and the project will be turned over to the client in Q2 2017.
The methodology for this build used modular construction practices, with the modules being manufactured concurrently with the site civil work. Once the modules were completed in the factory, they were transported to site in succession, allowing the installation team to systematically crane each module into place on the foundation. A pitched roof was built on-site by the site works team and placed onto the structure.
And that’s fine with us - we work in both the U.S. and Canada. We just wanted to know if you prefer your words with or without a 'u'.
